B.Y.E: Building Young Entrepreneurs

The BYE program is about building the skills and confidence for Silicon Valley African American youth to thrive in business and life.We’ve developed a program that teaches students how to select, research, vet, develop, and market a business. From idea generation to pitching their businesses for startup investment funds, this membership is truly transformative.

As the only Silicon Valley African American youth in business platform, this powerful program is also about how to do business, focusing on the principles and values that go into doing business well — communication, business etiquette, accountability, integrity, courage, and perseverance among others. Because as we know, becoming an entrepreneur isn’t for the faint of heart!

Our Services

Our training programs and services are said to be transformational. We believe they can change the way people view and perceive each other in regards to racial bias in hiring and funding, while also educating a diverse workforce here in Silicon Valley and Northern California. We also provide one on one counseling sessions with new as well as established businesses. We provide FREE consulting services using our local CBA’s, Chamber Business Advisors, along with our national SBDC’s, Small Business Development Center, certified business advisors.

Attend in-person or from the comfort of your home as SVBCC provides technical assistance in many areas that help a business person start, grow, finance or even exit their business.
